A short-hair seems the best 'generic' sort to go for. I don't mind as long as it's not so demanding on the system that the PC crashes on me, but please- don't forget the claws! Ears that can actually twist and lay flat properly would be wonderful, and nice eyes (eyes compatible with the various add-on eye props would be cool).
