If some enterprising photographer wanted to rake in some cash, they could create a site devoted to hi-res photos of all different sorts of people. Mec4D had one, but it was way out of the price range of most Poser users. And just think of the opportunities to meet attractive people of the opposite sex.... ;) Back when I was painting sci-fi and fantasy, I had the most fun walking up to a drop-dead gorgeous guy and, brandishing a camera, asking if I could photograph him in exchange for a print of any paintings I used his image in. Took me a couple of years to work up the courage to do it, but after the first time, it was dead easy. Of course, I wasn't doing nude shots, which might take a bit more finesse. I did find that people who were used to posing nude (I painted Suzy Owens a number of times, for example) hadn't the slightest hesitation in providing me with files full of pics taken by pros. But that was all before the era of digital hi-res....... Why not suggest the idea to all the budding photographers we know? There's money in it for them and more textures just waiting to happen for us......
