Maclean, Even if I logged on as CuriousLabs... how long do you think I could post without punning and thus ripping the veil from the corporate face? I might manage a post or two, but sooner or later that warped sense of humor would slip into the keystrokes. Spell-checkers and grammer-checkers do a fair job of finding and fixing things. However, the linguists haven't invented a dyslexia checker, much less attempted a pun-filter. It is an interesting thought, though. These linguists are busy trying to make computers think and respond with personality so that customers will feel at ease when dealing with an automated system. If they ran the algorhythms in reverse, could that strip personality from a real human's typing? Instead of the error message: "cat-like typing detected" would there be a warning when we sound too creative and original to be a fleshless machine? Carolly
