I think it's a good scene. For suggestions, I don't think the scale of the trees is the issue; it's the atmosphere. There appears to be a lot of light colored haze and ambient light in the scene, which causes things to fade to white very quickly away from the camera. I think that has a bad impact on your image. My suggestion would be to reload the scene and go into the atmosphere editor. First, check the fog and haze settings; perhaps tweak them around a little, at least the density. Then go to teh sunlight settings and see what happens when you change the balances and settings away from ambient and more towards sunlight. I think you will come up with more natural light in your scene, which will help. Two other things I noticed; the background (beyond the dead trees) is bare. Maybe something in the far distance? Also, the things on the water up front (lilypads?) don't look natural to me, and don't add anything to the scene. You may want to look for something else to use there, or see how it looks without them. I think the scene is very good, you've done a great job placing the vegetation, and the pov through the reeds is real interesting! Keep up the good work! I've learned a lot from tips and suggestions from other people, that's what helps us all improve.
