[I'm afraid I just started another flame war over in "mixed media," much to the discomfort of everyone.] Best practical advice I could give is: "If you ever think you may have enough money that would attract litigation, be very careful how you use other folks copyrighted works." Next piece of advice: "Assume ANY work is copyrighted by someone."
