Is the geometry for the jacket positioned properly for the figure to which it should conform? How have you generated the conformer's .cr2? Is it built from scratch, or adapted from an existing .cr2? If it is adapted, is it adapted from a figure which works properly? Try pointing a control .cr2 to your new geometry and see what happens. The joint centers need to be the same for a conforming figure, I believe, or it acts strangely.... Does your conforming figure have IK activated? If so, turn off the IK and re-conform it. Also, if you've adapted a .cr2, you may have ended up with a memorized pose in the file which is screwing things up. To test this, unconform the conforming figure, zero it using the joint editor, save it to the libraries palette, and open a new version from the libraries. Conform the new version you have just loaded. There may be other possibilities. Poser can be challenging. :)

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
