You can recite the name of every Poser model (P4 Female is called Posette, Millennium Woman is called Vicky), but you can't remember the name of your nephew. You buy a new laptop PC to take Vicky, I mean Poser, with you everywhere you go. You can match every Poser image to the artist without looking at a name, yet you can't remember who painted the Mona Lisa. You call people in the forums by their first name but forget the name of the co-worker in the next cubicle. {When you start trying to figure out ways to deduct poser from your taxes!!!!!} That's easy- just sell some 3-D things, declare it as your own graphics business and then deduct Poser stuff as business/ research expenses or supplies. Purchase and deduct Poser 5 so you'll have a licensed version of the software that you are developing things for. Purchase and deduct the full version of Photoshop since you'll need to make textures. Purchase and deduct Lightwave or 3D Studio Max (or, better yet, SoftImage) because you'll need a modelling program. Don't get a freebie modeller- as good as they may be, it's better to have a $1,200 loss for Lightwave (or $10,000 for SoftImage) than $0 for Wings3D.
