If you want to remap an existing figure the best my is duplicate the cr2 under another name. Do the same thing with the object file. Change the template in the new object file. Edit with a text editor the cr2 to replace all reference of the old name file to the new one. If the change is only the UV template, you does not need to modify any other stuffs in the cr2.
