Pop over to Runtime DNA as they have some lovely Material presets. These include a superb Lycra, sparkly stones and my personal favorite - fur! You can easily click on any of these to apply them to things and you will not only get a great effect you will be able to see how they are made of nodes. This is how I figured out the Material Room. PS - stick with it, when you get to grips with it you will be thrilled with what you can do!
