Subject: unlock an object?

In object attributes I locked an object, and now obviously I have no way to select it... I like the ability to lock it so that I can't accidentally move it around, but how do I get it back? Thanks, Dan

Go down there below the pic and select it in the mini-toolbar, by type and name. If you have animation controls instead of the toolbar, click on the gridded circle in the lower right corner of the screen.

ctrl-click on it should bring up a pop-up that will allow you to select it or if it's a group go to the group menu at the bottom or if it's a primative click and hold on the primative at the bottom and a list will popup. Of course it help to find it if it's been named.

I found that by hitting "select all" it selected the locked objects and I could unlock them. Thanks for your help too!

There's a few ways to deal with such silliness in Bryce, but Aldaron is dead on. Hotkeys are the key! (hah, not funny!) Another cool trick is the "Show as Box" attribute in the, well, the Attributes panel. Using this, you can lock and exclude objects from your selection process, it's handy sometimes...
