I think I'm the only one, but I still prefer to to create my text in white on black using photoshop, or any other image editing program. (I usually make it 512x512) In Bryce, create a terrain (or lattice), go into the terrain editor, increase the resolution to at least 1024 and import the text image. Smooth a bit, adjust height accordingly, mix well, and serve while hot. PS.. if you use the clipping bracket to adjust height, then make sure that the terrain/lattice is set to 'solid', otherwise it will appear hollow... which can be an interesting effect at times.
