When I was doing paint on canvas pics, people used to ask me how I could bear to sell them after putting all that work and love into them..... ;) HAH! I sold 'em before the varnish was dry because I knew that in no time at all, they'd look like a kindergardener's finger-painting to me! To this day, I sometimes walk into someone's home and see one of my more ancient originals hanging on the wall and end up cringing all the way through dinner. That said, you have to remember that alot of the perceived awfulness is in the artist's eyes, alone...to the rest of the world, it may look like the Mona Lisa ;)
