You can also add any color of red to an existing texture as a material color-- helps if the texture your overlaying is in greys or whites. You could desaturate an existing tex or use something like Blixt or Moon Goth or Stabitha a free texture at Rdna. That's what I would do if I wanted a red texture for some work I was doing-- is find the shading and detail I wanted in a texture I owned, desaturate , do contrast and use it over a red base.
