Do they show up in your finished renders, but not in your regular work-window? That would indicate you're not in textured-preview mode. My Poser is busy doing a 2+hour render, so I can't check what the exact name is, but there should be a row of small spheres on your Poser Screen. Pause your cursor over them and tool-tips will say they represent "wireframe" "cartoon" and such. click on the last one in the row to change to textured preview. If that doesn't do it, most textures sold these days come with MAT Pose files. Make sure that you've got the correct character selected, then dbl-clk on the MAT pose file to apply to that character.
