Doesn't seem to me to be a hate-related thing to ask for a Klan hood or a Nazi armband. Isn't there a movie out now with like black FBI agents or something? I remember something like that in previews, and they're infiltrating a Klan meeting. Villains. The real world would be better off without Insane Arab Terrorists, Nazi Punk Skinheads, Klan Grand Dragon Members, Serial Killers and Hate-Mongering Homophobic Fundamentalist Religious Zealots, no story would be any good without their ilk. Likewise, the Real World would have been better off historically without Slave Traders, Nazis, Aztec Priests, Historically Accurate Druids (I'm a witch, I'm not trying to offend anyone who's a 'modern druid' unless you haul people off to use in wicker men), Ayatollahs, and so on. What would Star Wars have been without the humanocentric, hate-mongering, genocidal, planet destroying Empire? What would Indiana Jones have been without Nazis (the third movie even has Adolf Hitler make an appearance (obviously not the real one)). It doesn't even have to be parody. Major sons of bitches like Osama Bin Laden, David Duke, and Saddam Hussein do exist in the real world, and your Poser heros or your novel heroes would have little to do without them. In the real world, we have more shades of grey than are displayed, perhaps, by most stories, of course. For instance, while I think Hussein and Bin Laden are major sonsabitches, I also think Dubya is right up there with them. While he doesn't want to kill off vast quantities of Americans, he does seem to have an agenda of re-infiltrating our country with Christian ideology (and takes pains to mention god in every one of his speeches), a concept which, as a practicing witch and thus a member of the people that according to strict interpretation of their religious rules, I'm not supposed to be suffered to live -- not to mention the numbers of teachers who have lost their jobs because their religion 'wasn't appropriate around children', parents who have lost their children because Colorado or Utah or wherever decided that they, solely by their choice of religion, 'weren't responsible enough to have kids', and this guy who wants this to be the par for the course is the ruler of our country. Villains abound. Don't apologise for asking for one.
