uhm, there tain't no such thing as Historically Accurate Druids around in these days, byron. (the reason dodger slams them is because they practiced human sacrifice, I guess you didn't know that...) as for the rest, I think dodger was more slamming the fundamentalist of any religion that can't suffer anyone other than themselves to exist. I can only agree with him on those kinds of people, be they Muslim or Christian or worshiping aliens on Mars. :) They make a damn good bad guy in your comic though! oh, and Bush 1.0 advocated removing American citizenship for atheists. Yeah, he did. And he isn't nearly as zealous as his little boy. :) I think dodger has good reason to be a bit leery, given that Wiccans put up with a LOT of discrimination from fundamentalist Christians. and as for those imams... a Pakistani coworker of my mother (a Muslim, also an American citizen and proud to be one) came up to my mother a few days ago and told her that the imam in the Bronx (NYC) is STILL preaching hate against Americans there. And then, after delivering a hate filled speech against Americans, asked everyone to pray for their green cards. At that point, her Pakistani coworker stalked out of the mosque, absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of the Imam and not to return. He told her what happened because he said... I want you to know what goes on in my community. I don't agree with hating anyone and this is wrong, he told my mother. His brother is in the military and this poor fellow is worried! Can you blame him? I wish more Muslims and Christians would be like that Pakistani guy, disgusted and stalk out of their church or mosque when the preachers of any religion preach HATE. keep on rendering those bad guys people! Fundamentalists of any ilk preaching death to the unbelievers deserve to be rendered as villains!
