pokeydots You ARE a story teller, that Pic tells a story, but if you're unsure about the writing, see if you can tie in with a writer. You could also do a book in public domain as a sample. The are a number of books out on "How To Do Childrens Books" Page count, format, Aiming your work for a specific age market, doing a dummy book, checking the publishing market for who buys what style (you won't sell dog pictures to a cat magazine). Proably 1/3 of a book stores is "Childrens Books" If you like doing illustration(for money)and don't mind hard work, it's worth a try, you certainly have the talent.
