This got too long so I'll cut it down to just the analogy I came up with near the end of a rather boring monologue. Apologies if what I've cut would have made things clearer :( I'm commenting on the apparent idea that it's wrong for DAZ to make a blanket "don't copy our morphs and then sell them or give them away" statement. Giving only the basic rules - e.g. "It's wrong to run with scissors" leaves implimentation of the rule still to be carried out. If "we" find 6 people: 1. Sprinting with scissors 2. Running with scissors 3. Jogging with scissors 4. Walking with scissors 5. Ambling around aimlessly with scissors 6. Standing with scissors watching all these idiots perambulating in dangerous fashion. Who would we stand and point at, screaming a la Donald Sutherland at the end of "Body Snatchers"? Certainly #1 and #2. I suspect #3 would be a judgement call and 4-6 would obviously be innocent. But we can make these calls, fairly easily, because as human beings we're actually quite mentally dextrous. We don't NEED different versions of the "scissors" rule in order to work out who should and who should not be reprimanded - we can apply the sliding scale ourselves. At least, I reckon so, personally :)
