![getgun.jpg](http://www.posercity.com/preview/getgun.jpg)This week saw the introduction of Z.H.'s hilarious side kick, John Smith Richard Roe, a severely ate up redneck. This clip is just a rough edit from day 3 of shooting. There are out of place bits of audio and none of the overlay audio has been added so the engine sound of the atv is sort of intermitent. But, this does give you an idea of the kind of over the top comedy this short will feature. Really, you should see the out takes because they are absolutely a riot. Hey, "What would Sam Jackson say here?". But, you'll have to wait for the vcd for those. Most of the blue bits end up on the proverbial cutting room floor anyways.

Anyways, George, Jamie and I hope you guys like what you see in this one.

Two formats available for this one.

I enjoyed that, I don't know how long you intend for the final product to be, but the scene where the redneck is talking with the gun to his head may be just a little long, seems to me like Zombie Hunter woulda told him to shutup a long time before he did, but the overall action may nullify this, and i'm an action flick nut anyway, damn the love scenes and narratives, let's see something blow up!

Hey, The actual edit of this will probably cut him about the time he says, "I see you got an ATV. Let's hook up man. I got some gas down the road." I let it run long there just cause he's so damn funny. Amd in all seriousness, the out takes which will be included on the vcd are just so danged funny. He goes off and does that scene a number of different ways, all hilarious. Thanks for the feedback. Regards, Brent

Redneck zombies, huh? You weren't shooting out here in Arkansas, were you? lol Cool flick. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

Disciple3d ( ) posted Mon, 10 February 2003 at 12:37 PM

Nah. Shot entirely in North Carolina. The actor swears he hasn't actually seen redneck zombies, evne though he pretty directly described the senario of that film with the green liquid. I'm putting together a littke website for this project over the next few days. I'll post a link when it's ready.

Greybro, That's too bad, I have a previous commitment (Chuckie Cheese, blech) on Sunday, but if we're in the same general area, maybe we can get together on a future project, I'd love to get into making a film, just don't have anyone interested.

Disciple3d ( ) posted Mon, 10 February 2003 at 2:20 PM

Coming soon to RMP, The Zombie Hunter. The Zombie Hunter website has launched at www.posercity.com/zh/ It's not the prettiest thing I've ever built. But what with running the project and all, my time to throw this together was limited. There are pics and previews that will be updated as we progress on the project. Hope you enjoy it and buy 2 copies of the film when it's done. Regards, Brent

Visited last night, it looks nice. One question, you mention a release on VCD, and a possible release on DVD later is demand is high enough. If I purchesed the VCD, and a month later, you offer a DVD, am I stuck buying it again? :)

Disciple3d ( ) posted Tue, 25 February 2003 at 11:38 AM

THe packaging for the dvd would probably be different than that of the vcd with lots more extras. In the case you mentioned we'd probably work something out with a rebate for your earlier purchase ammount. Regards, Brent

Any idea yet what the price is going to be? I won't hold you to a rough estimate :) I've just been on short term disability so long it's starting to feel like long term, and my wallet is feeling the pain.
