Totally missed that....I've been sick....fever...delirious, eliminating bodily fluids from every orifice...darn dreadful situation...then I gain enough strength to view my monitor and hit the internet/Renderosity connect key and see the above info referenced on another thread...yikes.... Well, hopefully if they're jumping ship they'll reduce P4 Pro Pack so I can buy that.... It may well be that Amazon is just trying to clear their inventory of P5. I'm actually only using P5 now....after all my problems.

Hope you haven't missed ladynimue's lists of graphics that have no swords, no nudity and no violence...she has found some really good examples of non-Vicky in the temple art. As for Poser 5; well, who knows? And some who are betting on the perfection of Daz Studio would say, who cares? I'm alternating between Poser 4 and Poser 5 depending on what I want to do, and I can't say I've got too many complaints except my wimpy computer sometimes needs a chance to rest between renderings. Sure sounds awful, whatever you had. Flu? Take care of yourself. Don't spend too much time getting irritated at Internet news about Curious Labs. Save your strength for important things.

I think flu....... who knows...I work in research labs filled with all sorts of mutated, genetically modified, little cells, cloned cows and pigs, viruses that are unknown to anyone with less than a PhD... botulism, herpes, HIV, anthrax, and every other disease known to mankind and plenty that are just nameless yet... It could be anything !!!!!! I may end up with my muscles falling off my bones....or all poxed out or something.... SAVE ME LORD !!!!!

quarantined and studied ??? No...none of it gets out of the lab..even on your shoes and clothes....especially the radiation... Plus , most of it only lives seconds when exposed to the air...except hepatitis...its about 4 hours or something like that... Radiation...now that's another story. But I'm told its completely harmless.....unless you swallow it. All those biohazard and radiation propeller symbols are just there to remind you to be careful. Wonder why those government folks wear all those rubber suits and stuff? Maybe I'm missing something here. I think I'm getting a relapse, however, after reading this $99 price for Poser 5...perhaps I should order 10 or more copies and sell them for $150 :)

Do you find that you don't need a light to read at night? That might be an indicator you've gotten too close to the radioactivity.

This is actually pretty cool for me. Reminds me of the heydays of getting my Fractal Design/Metacreations upgrades for $99.00 I was going to purchase the Upgrade from Curious Labs this week and I save $70.00! Now to check my wishlist as I have saved some $$$$.

Bryce5 is NOT $129 its $120 for the upgrade its $189 retail. The paintshop is $60 then with a rebate its $39, which is how I got mine last summer. but why in the world Poser5 is $129 and Poser 4 $300ish is mind boggling.

Although I still do not regard this as a "good deal." Poser 5 is still Poser 5 and is what it is at any price. I have a theory, very much speculation at this point, as to what might be happening. But since I have just now recovered from the flaming, roasting and barbecue sauce burns the last time I questioned anything dealing with CL, I will refrain from any public statements. ;) And speculation is just that... speculation.
