Kendra: Glad I've made it more clear (rather than muddier!) to at least one person! There's always a line to be drawn somewhere between "too brief" and "So long that halfway through all readers have lost what was in the first paragraph". Sadly I TEND towards the latter, wih numerous analogies and examples thrown in - comprehensive, perhaps, but excessively so. I always have to try and "draw back" a bit. I'd love to have a comparison conversation in the group sometime about how we look at our own work vs. the work of people we buy from. William:- Life is, sadly, not always about what is "best" but what works for the largest number of people - or sometimes about multiple choice! Using Pose files is a no-brainer and I assume is cross-platform compatible, without the need for third-party files. So the resultant "character" appearance is easy for everyone to apply and requires no thrid-party software (only the source morph sets). Of course, there are times where this just isn't practical - where the way a character is arrived at prevents passing on the "Pose" settings. [snip excessive commentary on my own attempts at re-creating likenesses by spawning multiple generations of morph files until I STILL get no-where near] Neither method is "right" or "wrong" - they each have their pros and cons, and ought to be used (IMHO) where most applicable. In most cases, I suspect, a Pose file is going to be easiest to create, smallest in filesize, and easiest for the "end-user" to apply/use.
