Leave behind the Apple SEs and take a plunge into OSX. :D It is well worth it. If you thought crashes/system freezes were rare before... wait until you get Unix running underneath everything; a nice solid foundation that it takes some serious effort to throw off balance. Or some Microsoft Products. :P I swear, IE, a suppossedly established browser, managed to choke up the system, while Safari, the Mac browser, while in Alpha/Beta stages has been a lot more stable! I support the move by companies that are following Apple- Apple will no longer be supporting 9 and below. The software companies shouldn't be expected to either. That doesn't mean that I'll be buying Poser 5. I'll be waiting and seeing how it goes for those that do get it. If the price is low, if there are few problems... well, maybe. I like having a variety of options. I have every intention of trying Daz Studio.
