In the 4+ year history of CR2Edit, I have had only 2 requests for refunds that I can remember. Since there has never been a refund request for the current version of CR2Edit, ronstuff must be speaking of version 4 or 5. Many of the complaints about those versions concerned the difficulty of the interface, which was not easy for the infrequent user. It was designed by DAZ, who wanted something very quick to use -- once you were familiar with the way it worked. Version 6 is a completely different animal, intended to be fast for the professional and yet full of help for the amateur. There are literally hundreds of tools, and admittedly, many will be a total mystery to the average hobbyist. The more esoteric ones were requested by professionals with specific needs. For example, Chris Derochie of PoseAmation wanted animation data in PZ2 files, and scaling for cartoon characters. Not likely to be used by many people, but it saved him untold hours in creating some pose files for a Christmas release. Yes, you can use a text editor to create one of these files, but that can get old real fast when you have a hundred to do.
