yeah, you guys are right on the shinyness of the metal body. The reference I was using was from my own plastic replica, but I couldnt quite get the textures to look right in Bryce...the pic is of my current attempt, an m4. i think the modeling and textures are far more accurate than my PDW (but thats just my opinion.

...and pakled, I have figured out how to do the magazine more accurately now. Im going to use a 2d picture in the lattice editor to create the magazine (like i did for the m4a1). and the ejection port if thats what you are referring to is on the other side of the gun)
