wotdoin,Could be wrong,but it sounds like you have Vue d'Esprit.If that is the case,you need to stay with Poser4/ProPack,as Poser5 still does not import directly into Vue. Compaired to Vue,the four view windows in Poser are very small and hard to see a large scene. For this reason I never use the four views in ProPack,but use the shortcut keys to change the camera view(like ctrl t,for top camera).This is very fast,and with a much better/larger image to compose with(and with ProPack selling for $199.00...alot cheaper).
