Renamer is a great program! I use it all the time. I also rename the individual MAT files. A lot of people like to use "eyes-blue" instead of "product-eyes-blue" or just "product-blue", so I rename the files and move them as needed. (I have a MAT folder for eye colors, another for lips, etc.)
