Thank You everyone for the comments and suggestions. But this is it for now. runwolf13 & pauljs75 - I agree with you both on the heat shimmering or mirage effect. But perhaps at another time. I'm trying to stick to the rules as far as postwork goes. The only postwork that I did was a contrast enhancement, actually to the negative, to soften up the picture in order to get a sense of realism.
