Damn! It disapears when the scene is rendered, I should have thought of that, but I didn't !@#$%!!! OK, the dissapearing when rendered is is caused by what I'll call the "actor type" "magnetDeformerProp" or "baseProp", it looks like this naming convention also caues the props to be invisible when rendered. I think we are sunk. Sorry for leading you on a wilde goose chase.
