Look carefully at characters before you buy. Many are pose files that set the values for DAZ morphs. Best are those that also automatically "inject" the required morphs, to make sure they are on the V3 figure and can take the settings. DAZ also built V3 with blank morphs that can accept brand new morphs created by third parties. So you might find a character morph that can be added to a V3 figure, without requiring any of the add-on morph packs. It's also possible to create hybrid characters, that combine custom morph(s) with settings for DAZ morphs (which cannot otherwise legally be combined and distributed with a custom morph).
