sooooo....dialynn...how does one go about "marketing" oneself, here? and, how much time does it take? must i be able to be on icq, 24/7 letting folks know exactly what i am working on, and currying favor? how many yahoo groups do you suggest i join? does the system..."i'll vote/comment on yours, if you vote/comment on mine" work fairly? god forbid that anyone question/challenge this system. it is the most wonderful way to get few/none comments on your postings. the folks with the most votes/comments have the most friend among the group that votes/comments. i think that is one of the biggest factors that makes folks want to change the number of uploads to gallery. it's a damned shame that anyone should think their work is CRAP....because the gallery in crowd does not know their name. it's a damned shame, that so many of the older members may just lurk here, and no longer comment. i guess that they no longer play here because they had more talent than friends. i don't get alot of comments. i have no "group" to hang with....and, OMG...i have no STORE. (i have refused to sell here from day one...not enough integrity.) without making my textures and models available to the renderosity public at large....how do i "market" myself? i hate not getting very many comments. but, i worse hate going against my own grain. but, methinks...if i open a wee store....and have stuff that those that comment....and heavily use the "gifted" marketplace items of others, whether beta testing, or just as a goodwill "gift". tell me, dialynn....how does one "market" oneself? when, one refuses to go to market?
