I've done this swap as well. BTW it won't work. Your windows probably won't boot on the new machine and you'll have to reinstall the OS. I upgraded my motherboard from a asus s333 to v333 with a faster processor and 133 ram. My c drive wouldn't boot on this new board with my old operating system from the old board. P5 with the latest patch doesn't care where it runs. I can run it off my back up drive on another machine or off this new system. Plus, if you install Zone Alarm you can tell Zone Alarm to prevent P5 from even going to the net to look up multiple copies so you can run two versions at the same time.
