Dialyn's description of thrusting body parts is getting me excited. I think someone has a future in writing trashy novels :-) There's no reason why this place should be any different than the rest of the world. How many "real" artists were ignored because they: Didn't paint popular themes. Didn't sleep with the gallery owner. Didn't have rich, influential patrons. Didn't have the right political beliefs. Weren't the right race, gender or religion. Were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. ... People now considered masters were ignored or even vilified during their lifetimes. If external validation were their main motivation, they would have quit before producing anything of value. Trying to get ahead by eliminating the competition didn't work for Tonya Harding and it probably won't work in this case either. Of course, Tonya's other claim to fame, appearing in a porn movie would definitely increase your gallery hits.
