This is apparently free DEM data on New Zealand: http://www.geographx.co.nz/Downloads.htm This is something called DEM generator, free: http://www.newcyber-3d.com/world/products/en_nc02.htm For geocomm: http://data.geocomm.com/dem/demdownload.html click on the map for a particular state and then on the part of the state, by name. When you get to the page where it says Add to cart, just click on the Normal download icon. It is free, the fee is for burning the data on a CD which will be shipped to you.
