I'm very appreciative of all the help i'm getting here. And MP - thank you so much for your render and the link. You're a tough one, but I think it shows you care about new people learning 3D. And Sharen - you are always so darling in your comments! Now, about the terrain and rocks... It's a desert, I can't picture what desert rocks look like. I'm trying to get that mixture of dried, cracked mud while keeping a sandy look. And the water... these are Foresters models and I wish to show them in their best light. I've noticed that a lot of waterfalls are mostly white rushing foam. I wanted these water models to look more 'meandering', lazy and passive. More like run-off after a heavy rain. It's very important to me to get this scene right, so please, don't worry about hurting my feelings. Learning isn't always pretty, LOL!
