DVD Rs aren't that expensive if you look around. For example, Office Max had 25-paks for $19.99 (after rebate) all last week. I got the Sony DRU-500 not too long ago and am very happy with it. With its software you can use a RW dvd as a regular drive that you can copy to and delete from at will. So you don't have wait til you have 4 gigs of stuff to burn. Just copy it over as you get it. As an added plus, with other software, I can now make backups of my DVD movie collection. So when my daughter wants to take a movie to one of her pajama parties, I give her the copy. The original and its case stay with me -- safe from smudges, scratches, spills, and other such hazards one encounters at pajama parties.
