The last time I tried TreeGenerator, when I imported the mesh into Bryce, all the polygons had cracks between them. Smoothing the mesh only made them bigger. Not to mention the huge size of the file. tuttle, try L-System. Far from being intuitive, but it's based on the algorythms that are derived from the nature. http://www.geocities.com/tperz/L4Download.htm Treedesigner is apparently abandonware, since the author's page is still dead. It's at: http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/10844.html You might also want to check BreezeDesigner with tree plugin. Not terribly good, but: http://www.imagos.fl.net.au/breeze/plugin/bdtree.htm Hmmm. Bioform is not exactly a tree designing program, but looks interesting regardless. Reminds me of X-Frog, and it's free. Supposedly needs POV-Ray: http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Metro/3115/ I'd recommend OnyxTree, but it's $500. :-) BTW, they are just coming out with version 6.
