This sounds like the imfamous FAT32-NTFS problem. P-Booost runs great on Win2k-XP if the drive is formatted with NTFS, but there is something about the NT kernel and FAT 32 that causes this effect, and Hogwarden hasn't been able to create a workaround (9x OS's and FAT 32 are fine, btw). If your setup uses FAT 32, no joy.
