First of all, concratulations to SamTherapy :o) Lovely lady there G

Then... uhm... er... how shall I put this so it won't sound like I'm whining?

you see... As good as a lot of these images are, I don't think that they fit into the theme, which was BLOOPERS.

Merriam-Webster states that a blooper is:
Main Entry: blooper
Pronunciation: 'blp&r
Function: noun
Etymology: bloop (an unpleasant sound)
Date: 1937
1 a : a fly ball hit barely beyond a baseball infield b : a high baseball pitch lobbed to the batter
2 : an embarrassing public blunder

Also known in the meaning of something in a movie that isn't supposed to happen, like when the boom falls down during a shot, or a supposed medieval knight wears a Rolex.

If you look at the images in this light I fail to see where the blooper is in many of the images used. Sure they're funny. Sure they're PARODIES. But bloopers? A few of them yes. But as a whole? not in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining over the fact that I did not win, but in general, if there is a theme, I think the admins of the contest should see to it so that the images submitted fits into that theme. Like if the theme was faeries and I submitted a picture of a car driven but the cartoon puppy. Sure the picture might be cute and funny, but it has nothing to do with faeries and shouldn't be accepted. There are some of the pictures in this contest where neither I or the ones I have asked can see how they could possibly fit into the theme. But well.. perhaps we're just stupid and the joke is on us? Who knows.
