i still think the 2D gallery is a fine place to post. Neither the photoshop or the 2D forums have that many posts, especially in comparison to some of the 3D forums on this site, which suggests a much more limited interest in the medium/software. "Online Graphic Artists Community my arse." It is one, it just doesn't cater to our needs as much as it does others. "...this forum will remain only to ask questions on "postwork" and other Poser related issues." Actually, I rarely see anything regarding postwork in this forum. There's the occasional texture question, but hey, if someone wants help in painting their hair on their poser image, take the props, they feel photoshop can do a much better job than poser can in the field. "The Poser Mafia, the Bryce Regiment heck, whole damn 3d Gestapo wins out again. Joy! Three cheers for the Marketplace! Meanwhile a very powerful and expensive 2d application posts alongside Microsoft Paint caterpillars and filtered renders of peoples pet cats." Well, the original url of this site was www.poserforum.com (which they don't use as of last year anymore), so I'm sure you can understand that this was never ever meant to be catered to 2D and photoshopo users, and never will be. Honestly, sites like deviantart.com and epilogue.net (though i dont know much about the latter, only s3econd hand knowledge) are better for posting artwork. Deviantart is almost entirely 2D work, and they have entire forums and galleries dedicated to even Pixel Art! Still, the forums blow booty, and that's where i think the renderosity 2d, photroshop, and photography galleries excel. They aren't large, but they are tight knit. As for the 3D realm taking notice, I've always thought that it'd be a waste of time to worry about it. Instead of worrying about this stuff, let's just continue to post kickass work. If they notice, hazaa, 'bout time. If not, their loss I say, why should I be unhappy if people I don't even know are missing out? Point being, I just wish everyone would stop worrying about this stuff. There were requests posted for a photoshop gallery, and honestly, there wasn't much of a response to the requests from members. It was basically a few people that thought it would be cool, and made repeat requests in the same threads. If it really was wanted, people'd have been all over the idea, but, they weren't. Blame the people, not rosity. They even created a Vector and Zbrush forum with enough pressure. It didn't take one try though. I remember requesting a vector and zbrush forum at least 3 or 4 times, and we finally got them. You won't get it your first try Grim, so either accept the fact that it didn't happen the first try, or try again. Shouting curses and calling the mods and admins names certainly will not help your cause. Be fairly certain that the big mods have already seen this post, and taken note of it. If you say "I don't care what they think", then don't care if they don't give you what you want either. In the end, the zbrush forum is o k a y, though zbrushcentral.com is very publically the place to go. The vector forum, a lot of the big vector artists here ended up switching entirely over to deviantart, so that forum and the representation of vector work in the galleries pretty much dried up. There are places to go that are entirely photoshop related. Renderosity isn't and never ever in a million years will be one of those places.
