OpenGL is soley dependant on what graphics chip you have. If you have a nVIDIA or ATI base graphics card, then you probably do have OpenGL available to you. Some on board graphics chips, such as some SIS graphics chips have very limited (if any) OpenGL support...so for 3D graphics use with the majority of 3D applications their use is limited. Cheers
