A few years ago I was called for jury duty. What happens is you sit in a big room with a bunch of other people until the judges decide they need you for jury duty. The first day was on April Fool's day, and the women who worked there told a bunch of people who were waiting that they had just been appointed to a jury and would have to be sequestered until the trial was over.
