Same in Vue Zhann:-) Let's take a sample: You create a terrain (or a sphere or whatever). It comes with the beige Vue default material. Select the object and then double-click in its material window top right. In the material editor click MAPPED PICTURE The LOAD button appears. Click it and select your bitmap from your HD. When selected, it will appear in the small preview. Don't click OK yet, but in the same window also select OBJECT STANDARD insteed of the default World standard. This provokes that the bitmap moves with the object. Also click the BUMP Tab. Right-click in the Bump production window and select EDIT FUNCTION. This opens a new window. There again, click MAPPED VALUE. Then click PICTURE and choose your bump map. You may use the Bitmap as a bumpmap, but it is better to create a special bumpmap for it. (see in our FAQ-->TUTORIALS section how to behave. You also can use an existing bumpmap from Vue. Click OK and OK. Now, these are the basics. You can play around with X and Y scale, as well in the Material editor as in the Bump function. You also can give more or less deepness to the bumps, invert them and more. But this would be too long now to explain. Do your proper experiences and read the user guide:-) Hope this helps. We are here for further questions:-) Guitta
