Subject: Stalk of wheat model?

Has anyone seen a model of a single stalk of wheat anywhere for download? Or does anyone know of a tutorial on creating one? It doesn't seem like it should be too difficult, but tutorials are almost always more efficient than figuring it out myself. :-)

If one doesn't show up, I might be able to make one. How soon do you need it?

Try 3dplants.com. Dunno if he's got exactly what you're looking for, but might be close. Check out the freebies

I've already tried there, with no luck. :-( Hiram, there's no rush, and if you'd just like to give some general instructions, I could probably do it myself. I'm used to modelling in Bryce with heightmaps and booleans, and I can do a little in Cinema. I'm thinking if I create spline outlines for the... seed thingie part, and make a loft nurb, then it would just have to be duplicated enough times. Am I on the right track?

Hell, I don't know, I just make it up as I go along! I use Amorphium, it's great for organic shapes. I think it would be quicker for me to do it that explain it! I'll see what I can come up with. I've wanted one before as well.
