First, the female figures have always been more popular. This doesn't mean that there isn't a large group of us who use Mike. It's a little depressing that there seems to be 3 or 4 items available for V3 to every 1 for Mike. Second, V3 is new, and does require a complete new set of props and clothing for fit. A lot of modelers are spending most of their time quickly filling the gap to the exclusion of Mike. Third, since Daz has announced M3 is in the works, I bet a lot of modelers are waiting for him, rather than make something for M2. V2 sales slumped when V3 came out, and they don't want to be caught the same way with M3. Fourth, since V3 has male morphs, modelers can do cross-gender stuff and just include male morphs and feel like they're supplying enough of a male line. Fifth, there's a saturation point we've reached on V2 and M2 in the way of product variation. How many Mike goatee textures do we really want or need? There are only so many non-morphing cloths we can use. Once more loin-cloth and I'll puke. All of this is understandable. However, since there is no release date for M3, and rumor has it that M3 is still on the drawing board, I think they're missing out. We'll have M2 for at least a few months. What I'd like to see for Mike is clothing that has variation to it. Things that can be posed in different ways, or is different from whats already out there. I'd love to see a t-shirt with a morph to pull the waist behind the neck (hot summer day look), or a pair of Y-fronts with some good morphs. Low rise, adjustable pants would be nice too. Real baggy pants with boxers sticking out on top. I finally got to the point where to get what I wanted, I had to make it myself. I've just made some fetish clothing available in freestuff that doesn't really look like anything I've seen for Mike (although there seems to be a LOT of it for V2 and V3 available in the last couple of weeks). The one thing we can be sure of is that Daz will come out with an M3, but maybe not until Daz Studio comes out. The good folks at Daz have always kept their promises. If they take their time, and make the same kind of improvements that went into V3, it'll be well worth the wait. Maybe we should do a wish list for M3 to help them along.
