:-) Well, yes Jon, I realize a Valkyrie is considered a mythological being ... I've studied the Norse, from a bit of a historical viewpoint as well as Pagan/mythological ... my question was simply meant to inquire if your designs were based on myth, legend, historical information, etc. I'm familiar with Arthur Rackham's pieces, I'm fond of a few of his works, although I've never liked the Valkyrie images much ... they seem to have been a bit "toned down" and stodgy in comparision to the visions that come up when reading some of the older legends and stories.
