Turning around isn't that simple. Strange thought but true enough. I remember from my military service (way back last century) that on the parade ground we would never do an about face from a standing position. Left face and right face were done from a stationary position but never the about face. It was always done on the march, even if that just meant marching in place. And it took three paces or moves for the turn. Any former drill instructors out there? One of them might be able to explain rhe steps.
