My freind and I are starting a new business and I have the Photo editing half of it. I'm an artist at heart and would like to invite you (artists or not) to check it out and let us know what you think. I spent a long time rendering the pages and it turned out very well. Hi. Nice images. My only comment unfortunetly has to do with the images and the sytle of links. If youre going into business where your clients can log on to your website you dont want to have a site where the links are "hidden" in a graphic which forces the customer to hunt and peck. No customer is gonna wanna wait for a tool tip. Most want links presented to them in a completely upfront manner so they can find what they need quickly. "I need a memory upgrade..dangit, which drawer was it...aww crud Ill go to XXX, their links are clearly labeled." Also, while the graphics show off your talent its better to keep the page graphics simple color scheme type deals rather than a fully rendered image so the page loads quickly and easily. Again for the clients benefit. You could make an onsite portfolio of your images if you need to showcase them. Other than that, nice site.

First thing i would work on is your opening page. On my computer the door has white edges in both open and closed door. First impresions are a must have on the internet or people will not stay long. I liked what you did but i wouldnt stop to shop if i had to click click click click.. to find what I am looking for.

checked the site...I think it looks cool, however, from a business aspect, I find it very difficult to navigate. Just my opinion, but I think a simple menu system vs. all the pullout drawers and stuff would serve you much better as a business...eliminate all the file folders to clic on etc... It kinda throws all your hard work to the wind, I know, but it takes quite a lot of time to figure out where you're going, with the pullout drawers folders and all that. Otherwise, from a graphics point of view, I like it. If you want professional opinion on the site, check out the link and ask for a site critique. Its for Front Page design, but give it a try.

I agree with everyone else....You need simplicity if you want to appeal as a business.....the front page graphics have the white edge around the door, (looks like a beginner in Paint programs that didn't know how to make it look any better)not professional looking...the image map image is blurry & fuzzy in places...I clicked on the "prices" drawer expecting to be taken to a page that gives me pricing info and instead I am taken back to the same image with the drawer open this time....I have to click on it again to get to another page....(the drawer should of opened as a mouseover instead of 2 separate pages).....I'd say the alternative speed friendly site is a better set up for a business....it's direct and to the point...

Hi Guys, guess your a bit miffed after getting all your hard work knocked a little, but I hope you're taking it as it was intended as constructive critism and an attempt to give you helpfull feedback as your new business gets off the ground :o) I have just visited your site and whilst I'm not going to offer any more advice,as plenty of good advice has been given already ;o) I am going to agree with what has been said as By the time I got to the files in the filing cabinet I still hadn't found out what you did and what products you had available, I was bored by then so I left, if everyone does that your in trouble. So please listen to what these guys have to say, it will serve you well as your business develops :o) MARV

Nice concept though. I hope to revamp my sister's site with a virtual gallery. It would be a walkthrough where you click on the images on the wall to enlarge them. Still in the design stage though.

Hmm lol Page loaded fast for me and I'm on a dial up connection. I kinda like the idea of clicking on the drawers to get around, but maybe the text could be clearer on the drawers so as to see what were clicking :) But I think it's a cute idea! Is there nothing in the folders yet?

Great idea! I've seen this done in games where you click on the desk drawer, then click on the contents...clever. Congratulations and hope you have great luck with your new business. :) Irene

You'll have a low click through on the frontpage. You'll loose alot of viewers on the frontpage. The insert/scrollbar box is distracting. Looks clunky; As though it doesn't belong. Navigation is lost in the concept. Overall it doesn't look like a business site, it looks like someone's homepage. But I like your renders!
