Would appreciate a referral to locate free downloads of lightsets. Thanks

Some of the best free light sets you'll find anywhere are those made by Traveler. They are located at Runtime DNA (The link). However, there are also some excellent sets here. Snow Sultan and Illustrender have offered a few. Do a search here in Freestuff under their names. There are others and I apologize to their creators for being unable to come up with names but it has been an extremely long day. I am sure others will also be able to name their favorites. Additionally, Blackhearted has an excellent set in the Marketplace for a very, very reasonable sum. Take care, be well, keep flying. casamerica

I can recommend Blackhearted's stuff, especially if you want decent GI (Global Illumination) lightsets. The "illustrender" sets, (in Free Stuff) are very good, I think you can find a GI rig by ZrincX in there too. Do a searh on "light" in the Free Stuff and you find lits I would imagine. But yeah, RDNA has a lot of them up too. I think Daz may still have the Complex Global Lighting freebie up somewhere on thier site too. later jb

We just gave the lights their own page (again) at RDNA :) So they are easier to find now, LOL I have 2 new sets hitting the site today (Softlights Silver, and White Lights Vol 2) and Will have another 2 out by Friday (Spring Lights Vol 2, and Moody Spots) :) -Trav P.S. I highly reccomend SnowSultan's lights! They are awesome! Illustrender's too!

Thank you very much for recommending my lights, but Illustrender is just the name I gave those light sets; they're all by me. ;) I used to have about 30 light sets in my Runtime directory, but now I only have my own and all of Traveler's in there...they're really all I need. :) Wow, more lights Trav? Looking forward to trying them out, thanks! SnowS

:) I blame that on being up too early in the morning and lack of coffee on my part, LOL. Sorry SnowSultan :) Your Illustrender lights were what got me started re-thinking how lights should be approched in Poser. The new lights are posted now :) They are on the last page of lights. Our sort on the file system is rather quirky, LOL Sometimes new stuff shows up at the end, sometimes in the front.. LOL

Thanks Traveler, I found them...and 60 lights in total? Whoa, you've been working hard. :) Thanks very much for sharing these with us, I'm sure they'll help. I'm going to try them out on a image I'm working on today, hopefully they'll save me from having to try and adjust lighting manually on a 63-meg PZ3 file. ;) SnowS
