Do a search for "PC Inspector" a freeware file recovery utility. Didn't help me because the drive was physically kaput but it may help yours. Ironically, it was the only one of my drives which was still under warranty so that was a small silver lining. Having my Poser stuff scattered over several drives didn't hurt either :-)
