I'm sure it's been asked for before, and is probably on the list, but can the default for post reply notification be set to off or even better, a choice on the My Profile page? Thanks

~Snicker~ I was just coming to this forum to ask this very thing..it's aggravating to have to click that email on post thing everytime you don't want to recieve that notification...sigh ~Jani :)

On the Forums main page, there is an option for 'Edit Forum Options.' There you can set the tag for wether you want an email on post from that particular forum or not. Then if you DO want email, just click the option when you post. Hope this helps! :>

E-mail on post is for notification of new posts on the checked forum, not the reply notification. Thanks for trying, though, bluetone.

EGADS! I just got back online after 3 days of server problems, and I had 1110 e-mails, and out of 3 pages of 50 individual emails per page, there were at least 10-15 on each one from 'Rosity! All Replies to posts...Grrrrr... Ya know, there has to be a way to turn that blasted thing off.. Now I realize that 'Rosity uses this default feature I assume to bring members/customers back here..but the way I figure it is this..If members are intending to stay members, we will come back...we don't need to be reminded to come back..90% of us know that if we post something in a forum, it WILL get at least ONE reply..so we come back to check it...sigh I'd like the option to turn 'Reply on Post' off..to default for my personal self.. like Wyrwulf stated, and have the option to choose to be notified instead.
